Congratulations to Josh Kuhn, PGA @jkuhn40, winner of the 2026 WNY PGA Section Championship! Josh fired two even-par rounds of 72 to finish with a total score of 144, locking down his win after birdieing his second playoff hole. With his win, he has officially earned his spot in the 2027 National PGA Professional Championship at Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Florida!
Congratulations to Kirk Stauffer, PGA @chqdog and Nick Palladino, PGA @npalgolf for battling all day and qualifying for the National Tournament as well. Best of luck representing Western New York on the National Stage!
Three alternates also qualified to be pulled from our section if the opportunity arises. Anthony Schiro, PGA @schiro_anthony, Tim Fries, PGA @tpfriespga1953, and Jacob Eckley, PGA @jake_eckley_pga, are our alternates. We hope you get called into the National Tournament to boost our section`s representation!
