PGA REACH WNY and our Allied Golf Associations offers youth opportunities to learn, play and compete throughout their skill development. Although our programs foster competition, the primary goals are to grow the game, provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, and encourage friendship, sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity.
The 45-minute golf clinics introduce juniors to the game of golf utilizing the American Development Model (ADM) to develop the entire athlete not just specialize in one sport. Instruction will be focused on Stage Two of the American Development Model (ADM), FUNdamentals, to develop skills for play focused on fun, inclusion and developmentally appropriate activities.
Learn MoreBoys and girls will compete in separate divisions in four age categories: 7-9 years old; 10-11 years old; 12-13 years old; and 14-15 years old. Each participant will compete in all three skills (Drive, Chip & Putt).
Learn MoreThe Tour provides an opportunity and atmosphere for juniors to enjoy the camaraderie, friendship, and sportsmanship of competitive golf at a series of premier venues throughout the Western New York Section of the PGA of America. The WNYPGA Junior Tour is open to juniors residing within the boundaries of the WNYPGA Section who have reached the age of 10 but will not reach their 19th birthday before August 1, 2023.
