The Western New York Section of the PGA of America brought together its dedicated PGA Professionals on October 27th for the 2025 WNYPGA Annual Meeting, hosted at the beautiful Glen Oak Golf Club in East Amherst, NY. The event served as both a celebration of another successful golf season in Western New York and an opportunity for Section members to gather for professional development, leadership updates, and community connection.
The Annual Meeting featured an engaging program that highlighted the continued growth and momentum of the Section. Attendees were treated to insightful education and leadership presentations from Derek Sprague, PGA, CEO of the PGA of America, who shared updates from the national level and discussed the PGA’s ongoing initiatives to grow the game, support members, and strengthen engagement at every level of the organization.
Following the educational session, the meeting transitioned into official Section business, including officer and board elections. Eligible voting members in attendance elected three new officers and two new board members, ushering in the next era of leadership for the Western New York PGA. The newly elected leaders were sworn in immediately after the meeting, with their roles taking effect right away.
