Mike Sweazy, PGA Professional from Wild Wood Country Club, won the WNYPGA Match Playy Championship at Crag Burn Golf Club with a 6 & 4 win over Dwayne Randall, PGA Professional from Bartlett Country Club.
Sweazy defeated Jack Widger, Elkdale CC, 3 & 2 in the round of 16, defeated J.A. Sutherland, CC of Buffalo, 6 & 4 in the quarter-finals and defeated Pat Damore, Lakewood Golf Center, 4 &2 in the semi-finals.
Dwanye Randal defeated Rob Horak, Shadow Lake GC, 2-Up, Rob Krajewski, Glen Oak GC, 6 &5 and Kirk Stauffer, PGA Life Member from Bradford, PA – 1 Up to reach the finals.
