Jon Hoecker Wins His 4th WNYPGA Section Championship at Whispering Woods

Jon Hoecker, PGA Head Professional at Brook Lea Country Club in Rochester, NY won the WNYPGA Section Championship for the fourth time at Whispering Woods Golf Club in Erie, PA with a 36-hole score of 73-74-147. Hoecker previously won the Championship in 1988 and 2008. Chris Zumpano, Assistant PGA Professional at Oak Hill CC was runner-up with 73-75-148 and Michael O’Connor, PGA Head Professional at the Kahkwa Club,  was third with 76-73-149.

Austin, Texas in April. Alternates for the National Championship include Dwayne Randall-Bartlett CC, Kirk Stauffer-PGA Life Member and Tim Falkner-Crag Burn GC.
