Africa 6000 Pro-Am Charity Classic

Jon Hoecker, PGA Head Professional from Brook Lea CC and PGA Life Member, Kirk Stauffer, tied  for first place with 1 under par 71 at the Africa 6000 Pro-Am Charity Classic. Dwayne Randall, PGA from Bartlett CC was third with 72. Host PGA Professional, Michael O’Connor was fourth with73

The Pro-Am Scramble Champions were Bob Ford, PGA Head Professional at Seminole GC, Chris Fette, John Fette, Gregg Pfeffer and Tony Paris with a 21 under par score of 51.

The Africa 6000 Mission is to provide clean, safe water throughout the continent of Africa. Africa 6000 also helps educate villagers as to the infrastructure of the well and the importance of maintenance. These wells not only save thousands of lives daily but have helped bring peace to areas where lack of water has caused unrest and sometimes violence.
