Jake Northrup, PGA Elected as 41st Western New York PGA President Mike D’Agostino elected to Vice President and Bob King elected to Secretary

East Amherst, NY – October 27th, 2021 – Teaching Professional at Ellicottville Indoor Studio, Jake Northrup, PGA, has been elected as the 41st President of the Western New York Section, PGA of America (WNYPGA). The Association dates all the way back to 1925 with Jack Gordon, PGA as the first President. Jake will serve a two-year term leading the mission driven organization to help serve the WNYPGA Professional Membership and grow the game of golf.

Also elected this past Monday was Mike D’Agostino, PGA of Penfield CC who will serve as the Vice President. Bob King, PGA of Lakeside CC was elected to Secretary. Mike Kiel, PGA of Midvale CC will serve his second term as Director and Ben Wilson, PGA of Irondequoit CC was elected to a three year term as Director.

In addition to the PGA Members elected to the Board, the WNYPGA has added two Independent Directors for the first time in its history. Dave D’Arata of Dansa, D’Arata and Soucia and Rich Krieger of Barclay Damon LLP will both serve a three year term with the new Board. Dave and Rich are both members at the CC of Buffalo.
