Congratulations to Ryan Swanson, PGA @rswanny21 on his win at the @africa6000intl Invitational Pro-Am at @thekahkwaclub. Ryan shot an impressive 70 (-2) on today`s beautiful day to take the top prize.
Thank you to @thekahkwaclub on hosting us for a great event, and special thanks to Sean Moffat, PGA @smoffatpga and his staff for hosting us and making this event possible year after year.
We`d also like to extend a tremendous thank you to Teresa Murtland and @africa6000intl for their continued support of this Pro-Am. We can`t thank you enough for your generosity towards our WNYPGA Professionals.
Congratulations to Jon Hoecker, PGA, the 2026 WNYPGA Senior PGA Professional Champion! Jon fired rounds of 73 and 73 to finish 2-Over with a total score of 146. He has officially earned his spot in the 2026 National Senior PGA Professional Championship at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Gold Canyon, AZ.
Three other qualifiers have also qualified to join Jon in Arizona. Timothy Fries, PGA, Kirk Stauffer, PGA, and David Wedzik, PGA, have all earned their spot in the National Senior PPC with this week`s stellar play.
Four alternates also qualified to be pulled from our section if the opportunity arises. Mike Sweazy, PGA, Steve Barber, PGA, Rodney Blair, PGA, and Michael O`Connor, PGA are our alternates. We hope you get called into the National Tournament!
